Provision of Submarine Cable Telecommunications Services

The Nigerian state hydrocarbon company NNPC, is calling on competent and experienced contractors to respond to a tender (NIPEX Number: 100022) for the provision of a submarine cable telecommunications services for itself, its JV and PSC   partners along the coast lines of  the densely populated city of Lagos in the west to the Qua Iboe Oil Terminal in Akwa Ibom State in the country’s south east.
The project, which shall have a minimum design life of 25 years with the capability of providing a 24/7 support service via a minimum Network Operating Center (with marine traffic monitoring) and dedicated Service Desk operation to oil companies’ offices  located both onshore and their field locations. Service shall be available 18 to 24 months from project commencement.
