Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering or Sciences with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division or Lower Credit respectively.
Experience: Minimum of Fifteen (15) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in any combinations of the following areas: Assistant Driller, Driller, Tool Pusher or Drilling Supervisor in an oil well drilling organization.
Additional Requirements:
-Strong knowledge of well construction Demonstrable leadership abilities including, but not limited to,
effective communications, interpersonal and organization skills
-Ability to coordinate the activities of a multitude of contractors and equipment in a complex drilling environment
-Ability to analyze and solve complex well drilling and completions
problems
