Requirements:
– Advanced degree (min MSc) in geological sciences
– Minimum 15 years of experience across multiple locations
– Preferred hands-on experience in various geographical plays
– Thorough expertise in well log correlation.
– Extensive experience within subsurface visualization, as well as: basic structural & stratigraphic mapping, cross-section generation and resource estimations
– Must be familiar with the SPE 2007 Petrol Auditing standards
– Have experience with remote sensing techniques and satellite mapping
– Be computer literate and have working knowledge of at least one major geology-geophysics-engineering workstation platform (SMT Kingdom preferred but not necessary)
Desirable qualifications and skills:
-familiar with PSCs, EPSAs and basics of business development
-Field observations and outcrop facies characterization.
