Mozambique will launch its long awaited competitive lease sale, christened ‘the Fifth License Round’ in London on October 23, 2014.
The 15 blocks on offer are located in the prolific offshore Rovuma basin, as well as offshore Zambezi and Angoche basins and onshore around the Pande-Temane concession and Palmeira.
The bidding round, scheduled to close January 20, 2015, is being superintended by the state regulatory agency, the Institute of National Petroleum (INP), on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Mozambique.
