SPDC has announced its interest to engage the services of competent and experienced contractors in the area of Oil Spill and Remediation Services. This contract, with TENDER REF: NG01018544; NIPEX REF 0200349 is on a call off basis, which means that the contract specifies terms, conditions and prices with the service providers for Shell’s onshore operating units located in Nigeria.
The proposed contract will commence in Q4 2015 and remain active for three (3) year duration, followed by a one (1) year extension option.
Specifically, contractors will be required to provide support services in the areas of: Standard Site Assessment Procedure Execution, Risk Assessment & Report Writing, Borehole Drilling, Sampling, Monitoring of Wells, In-situ testing and Monitoring well installation and development, Classification Testing and Laboratory / Bio-Chemical Testing, Environmental Sampling and Impact Assessment among others.
