BP Needs a Pipeline Operator in South Africa

Desired Expertise: Ideally, the right candidate should have sound expertise in  supply chain operations to manage the logistics of a deal to BP’s best marketing supply advantage whilst ensuring all contractual obligations are met. Typically, operators take control of the deals post initial negotiation by the negotiators, fine-tune some of the contractual clauses, arrange quality, cost effective transportation, minimise product losses, ensure that sufficient information is provided to the marketing supply team to enable them to manage funds and meet accounting deadlines. Throughout this process the operators liaise extensively with BP negotiators, BP Associates & Third parties.
Experience: This role will be a developmental roll in supply chain operations which will result in obtaining experience in movements of products, stock and performance management and demonstrated ability to gather, analyse, interpret and draw appropriate conclusions from relevant information.
Minimum Education: A minimum of B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in engineering from an accredited international university.
