Desired Expertise: The right candidate for this job role should be able to direct all activities related to drilling operations in accordance to the drilling program on the well site, monitor the well bore condition, interpret and respond to down hole conditions, execute well kill operations as per instructions from Seadrill supervisors and secure the well during an emergency or well control situation.
Experience: We desire an individual that has vast knowledge in ensuring that all relevant personnel are adequately trained in handling emergencies, that all emergency equipment is in good condition and configured as required, that operational preparedness of all safety and emergency equipment are done as required and that the first line maintenance of drilling equipment is performed and recorded.
Minimum Education: A minimum of B.Sc. in engineering from an accredited international university.
