The Position
As an Production Automation Engineer you will maintain, develop and use our in-house system that is used for presentation and automation of dredging and offshore processes.
Other responsibilities:
- Knowing industrial control systems and how to communicate with them (network knowledge, buses, et cetera).
- Involvement in the entire project, from feasibility and testing a system, to installation on board a vessel, including the actual hand-over and user instructions (for the crew).
- Supporting the crew in the case of automation problems on board.
Do you have:
- – A higher professional degree in Electrical Engineering or equal.
- – Knowledge of ‘C’, Linux and Java.
- – Several years of appropriate work experience.
And are you:
- – Flexible and analytical.
- – A good communicator, also in the English language.
- – Willing, in connection with the work, to spend short periods abroad.
