AziNam Gets More Pieces of Namibia

AziNam has doubled its holding in the Namibian offshore blocks 2312 and 2412A to 20% working interest. The Chariot Oil & Gas operated blocks, located in the Walvis Basin, used to be known as Blocks 2312A&B and 2412A&B, but have now been renamed Blocks 2312 and 2412A after a new licencing process.

Tonel North Not As Good As Expected-Ophir

The result of the Tonel North-1 appraisal well, offshore Equatorial Guinea, “is expected to marginally reduce the discovered volumes in the Tonel field” according to Ophir Energy. The well was drilled approximately 5km north-east of the original Tonel-1 discovery well in Block R.

German independent RWE Dea achieved first production from the Central Treatment Plant (CTP) of the Disouq Development Project in the Egyptian Nile Delta. Production commenced at an initial rate of 45 million standard cubic feet gas per day (MMscf/d).
