Technical Requirements: The scope of work for this tender encompasses the provision of comprehensive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for the New Gas Consortium (NGC) facilities. The services shall include but not limited to:

  1. Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations through the implementation of HSE policies, regulatory compliance, and the management of emergencies and incidents;
  2. Operate and optimize processing and export facilities, ensuring product quality, system reliability, and continuous monitoring of operational performance;
  3. Execute and manage maintenance and asset integrity activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, inspections, shutdowns, turnarounds, and reliability improvement initiatives;
  4. Manage resources, personnel, and operational continuity, including materials and spare parts management, obsolescence management, logistics, competency assurance, and the transition of O&M.

The NGC facilities include an onshore gas treatment plant integrated with two offshore production platforms designed to process a gas plateau rate of 412 MMSCFD, a peak condensate rate of 20.500 BOPD and a peak produced water rate of 4.400 BWPD.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The Zululand Energy Terminal (ZET) has officially launched its formal Expression of Interest (EOI) process to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors.

This milestone signals the project’s transition from planning into active procurement and marks further progress in the development of critical energy infrastructure for South Africa.

The EOI provides qualified EPC contractors that meet the specified minimum requirements with an opportunity to participate in the delivery of this large-scale strategic energy infrastructure project.

EPC execution will be subject to ZET’s localisation and economic development objectives. Successful contractors will be expected to support local supplier participation, skills development and the utilisation of local labour.

Qualifying parties will be included in the project’s vendor database and may be shortlisted for subsequent phases as potential preferred contractors or subcontractors.

INTRODUCTION

NLNG is a leading energy company charged with the responsibility of harnessing and exporting Nigeria’s vast natural gas resources to improve lives sustainably. It operates a world-class production plant on Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria. The facility consists of six (6) natural gas liquefaction trains with a total capacity of 22 million tons of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and 5 million tonnes of Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) per annum, with associated gas receiving, treating, storage and loading facilities as well as utilities (Electrical power generation, Water, Air, Nitrogen etc.), and support infrastructure (offices, residential accommodation, school, hospital, airstrip, jetties etc.).

NLNG intends to carry out a major brownfield replacement of one of the Main Cryogenic Heat Exchangers (MCHE) located within its Plant Complex.

For this purpose, the services of Contractors in the areas of Mechanical, Civil, Fabrics, Electrical and Instrumentation project/construction execution are required. CNOOC Uganda Limited (CNOOC), a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, is an oil and gas exploration and production company and the Operator of the Kingfisher Development Area, located in Kikuube and Hoima Districts.

CNOOC requires the services of a suitably experienced and qualified CONTRACTOR to provide Well integrity Services as outlined in the scope of work below;

SCOPE OF WORK

Lot 1: KFDA, Annual well inspection activities, Well maintenance, Tools & Repair & Calibration.

Lot 2: LA-2-S, Annual well inspection activities and well maintenance.

The contractor shall carryout the annual well integrity and well site maintenance services at Kingfisher Development Project Area and License Area 2 south (LA-2 South) in Kisinja Area, Kaiso Tonya.

  • At Kingfisher, there are a total of 23 wells, comprising 4 legacy wells and 19 newly drilled wells.
  • At LA-2 South, there are 10 suspended wells, namely: Nizzi (2), Waraga (3), and Mputa (5).

The scope also includes supply of well maintenance tools and consumables.
